About Rayna Houvouras
Ms. Houvouras is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated from Webster University in 2010 and received my license in Mental Health Counseling in the State of Florida in 2014. She has over 19 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including counseling, crisis intervention; trauma-based therapy, substance abuse and applied behavior analysis. She received her Certified Addictions Professional Certification in 2015. Ms. Houvouras has been a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst since 2001.She is also trained in Adoption Competency in the State of Florida and often will teach this seminar to others. She is a qualified supervisor in the State of Florida for Mental Health Counselors. Ms. Houvouras has done extensive training's and presentations on supervised visitation and on behavior based interventions to many other professionals. She has a broad range of clinical experience working with individuals and groups across the life span.
Ms. Houvouras's approach emphasizes the mutual development of goals for therapy and provision of ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic approach. Services can include individual, couples, family and group therapy across the lifespan. She is specifically trained in many different therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Crisis Intervention. Ms. Houvouras always continues to seek ongoing updates to her skills and knowledge base through continuous training's and research.
Ms. Houvouras is invested in emphasizing a more integrative, dynamic, and hands on approach to mental health that benefits not only the individual but the family as a whole. Ms. Houvouras enjoys photography and spending her days at the ball field with her sons in her free time.
