ABOUT GAIL GUILLORY, JUPITER MARRIAGE COUNSELOR
Gail is the Clinical Director and Founder of Family Counseling Associates in Jupiter, Florida. She received her Masters degree in Social Work from Barry University and became licensed as a psychotherapist in 1996. She has been working as an individual, couple and family therapist for over 17 years and has been in private practice in Jupiter since 1998.
Gail received her early training at the Parent Child Center of the Palm Beaches where she was employed from 1991-1998. She held several positions within the agency including; Outreach therapist, Outpatient therapist, Coordinator of the Attention Deficit Disorders Clinic, Clinical Supervisor, and Program Director. She received extensive training in the areas of Attention Deficit Disorders, parenting, step-parenting, and blended families. She feels that her background in community mental health has helped her to develop the skills and training necessary to work with a diverse population and a broad spectrum of mental health issues.
Currently, Gail primarily treats adolescents and adults dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, self esteem, anger and relationship difficulties. Gail also has a special interest in working with couples, divorced and blended families helping them to overcome the special circumstances unique to each family.
Gail is a cognitive behavioral therapist who describes her style as directive and actively participates in the sessions to assist her clients in meeting their goals for therapy. Gail is married and lives in Jupiter with her family where she is actively involved in her community.
