John began working with individuals suffering from substance use disorder and mental health disorders in 2013 in a support staff role. During this time, John completed his bachelor’s degree in social work and master of social work (MSW) in May of 2017 from Florida Atlantic University. Currently, John is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a master’s certified addiction professional (MCAP), and an adjunct professor at the school of social work at FAU. John owns a private psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management practice located in Boca Raton, FL. John is passionate about providing community based services that bridge the gap from conventional treatment into the community. John uses a firm strengths-based approach to help clients and their families achieve their goals.
