ABOUT ANDREA:

I am a licensed psychologist, trained in clinical psychology, which is an integration of sciences, theories, and applying this clinical knowledge in my private practice. For the past twenty years, I have been helping others to gain greater awareness and understanding in order to promote better psychologically based mental health. 

Our lives, as well as the world, is always evolving so it is necessary to be able to adjust, adapt, and handle whatever changes and challenges arise. Personal transformation can be achieved by reducing unpleasant emotional symptoms, distorted cognitive beliefs or unrewarding behavioral patterns. Whatever the issue may be, talk therapy can be the communicative tool to attain greater satisfaction and harmony with yourself, and that extends also to your family, life, career, and other relationships. 

My patients are children, adolescents, and adults because mental health issues can exist at any age, at any time, due to various factors, across the lifespan. Therapy is a process and the length of time varies from person to person. Some issues can be resolved in a relatively brief amount of time, whereas others take longer. Regardless, I strive to offer personalized, quality, empathetic attention and respectful care.
